What an awesome day we had! In case you don’t remember, it was just last Saturday… It was a bright, sunny, blazing hot day.
The TBBC Race Team met up at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn to challenge themselves physically and mentally in the adventurous, obstacle-filled Rugged Maniac Race. Although many of you were tentative about doing the race, EVERYONE made it to the finish line (as we knew you would)! Some of you were a little sore the next day and had some battle wounds- of which you undoubtedly wore proudly- you all now bear the the title of a “Rugged Maniac”.
It was great to be on the sidelines, watching you all leave the starting gate full of energy, putting those 8 weeks of training to the test, and then seeing you crawl through the mud, under the wire- still with smiles on your faces. Nothing beat the victory slide-(Sam- you get the prize for the most victory slides!). Then the final ascent up the wooden ladders only to have to cross over the cargo net suspended at least 25 feet off the ground, then back down the ladders made that cross over the finish line all the sweeter. Way to go Scott for tackling that one- we know how you feel about heights- and to Sam who stood by his side!
The TBBC Team wants to congratulate and thank you all for representing our Boot Camp and for showing everyone what we are made of! Check out the pics here.
