Q: Take us back to what your life was like before joining the TBBC Program?
A: Before I joined Total Body, I was really kind of at the end of my ropes. I was pretty outgoing when I was younger, but then you have kids and everything and the focus is not on yourself. It’s on everybody else and you kind of let yourself go, then it kind of spiraled out of control with my knees going bad. And when you stop moving a lot, you want to sit more, you don’t want to do things, you’re limited. I remember just not feeling like myself anymore and not feeling good about myself.
Q: What was your first impression from the TBBC program?
A: With menopause, drying out my skin, my hair, everything just was changing beyond my control, my knees, I felt like a disabled person. I had a limp some days worse than others. And then I swear I prayed to God and I really did. I looked to him for help and I really asked for help. I was really at the end of my ropes. I really felt like, you know, this is it. This is me now. I didn’t even like myself. My self esteem was shot and it wasn’t me anymore. The most beneficial thing at Total Body Boot Camp, first and foremost, are the trainers. They’re really caring. And it’s not like you’re going to a gym and you’re a no name. You’re very important at TBBC, you’re family, and you’re treated as good as your family.
Q: How is the TBBC program different from other programs you have tried before? What makes TBBC different or unique?
A: TBBC is not like any other program out there. There’s nothing even close. You know, I talk to my friends all the time because they’re like, where are you going? What are you doing? You’re getting such great results. The small group training, you know, there’s these great classes, you get the attention that I need. They know me. They know everything wrong with me. They’re so in tune with my needs and I needed that coddling. I wanted to feel like somebody was looking out after me. Getting that kind of attention kept me coming back.
Q: Walk us through your journey. What results and benefits have you experienced in the TBBC Program?
A: The results and the benefits that I receive from TBBC are endless, but the fact that I had lost 70 pounds and toned up when I didn’t even think I could ever do that again. I didn’t think that this was possible. When I first came it was just really to walk better, I have issues with my knees. That happened right away. Everything around my knee got strengthened. I had one knee replacement, I was going to get the other one done. I didn’t need to get the knee replacement immediately because all of a sudden I was feeling better and I was like, how is this possible to lose weight and inches.
Q: What would you say to anyone looking at the TBBC program
A: Do not feel intimidated or like they can’t do this. I tell everyone where I was at where I was when I started and that I never thought I could do this. And that I achieved everything I could ever imagine and more.
