Once per year, the team and I all get together to learn and mastermind together for a few days. We are away at a learning event in Alexandria, VA for a few days.
Since we are all serious about our workouts we decided to get up together at 5AM to do a workout (even if some of us had a drink or 2 last night).
We decided to go to a gym in the area but the reality is we could have done the work out anywhere. You are only limited by your imagination.
We only had 30-40 minutes so we decided to do the following. Feel free to model this any time you are away.
Warm up:
- Jumping jacks * 15
- Gate Swings * 15
- Prison squats * 15
- Fast feet * 15
- High knees
- Side shuffles
- Skipping
- Bear crawls
Workout
- Front squats * 10
- Reverse Lunge * 10
- Ply push-ups * 10
- 1 Arm row from RDL position * 10 (each leg)
- OH press * 10
- Triceps kick back * 10
- Plank variation * 10
We did the above circuit 4 times but you can do anywhere from 3-5 times. We also added 10 burpees after each set for an extra pump.
If you want to do an additional finisher after this, a run or sprints would be perfect!
We decided to do some sled pushing. Only one of us puked and it wasn’t the old guy. Guess who did?
