Ah! The sun is shining, the burgers are grilling, and family and friends are chatting away! Sounds like the perfect recipe for an AWESOME BBQ! Well that is just what we had this past Saturday, Aug. 24th!
We had plenty of food, games for the kids, and plenty of good conversation. The weather was perfect with a nice breeze with the perfect amount of heat!
Starting with the food, well, it was AMAZING! We had everything from pasta salads to Max Levine’s spicy jalapeno dip! It might have just been the dish of the day with the plate being wiped clean! A HUGE thank you to Bill Riccio for stepping in short notice and grilling up some delicious hamburgers and hot dogs! They were soooo good, Bill! And thank you to Kathy Conlon for helping out from bringing the salad of the day (sooo good KC!), keeping things organized, and to opening up all the cheese packs for Riccio. Promise next time KC we’ll get the cheese NOT in the individual wrappers! 😉
Dessert was definitely not a disappointment with cookies, fruit, and Maryellen Behr’s healthy chocolate peanut butter mini brownies! They were definitely all the rage!
The kids games were underway with Sam at the helm! The kids did potato sack races and such with even the adults getting involved. After each game the kids got a chance to pick out one of the many cool prizes Sam brought along. Thanks so much Sam for making the games so much fun!
Billy Hofacker had some kind words to say about all the people who made the day great. But he also had an important announcement. For the 2nd Annual TBBC Game results of course! Drum roll please!….The winner for the women went to….Maryellen Behr! Maryellen, you rocked!!! And the winner for the men and overall TBBC Games….Max Levine!! Max, you kicked butt!! If you happen to see these awesome people, give them a big congrats!!
Most importantly we just want to give a warm and huge thank you to all of you that came out and made our 3rd Annual TBBC BBQ a huge success! You all make us who we are and we can’t thank you enough. Also, a huge thank you to our awesome staff, Billy R. KC, Sam, and Erin and our new intern Vanessa. They were all there early to set up and stayed late to help clean up. You guys are amazing! Thank you to their families as well for always supporting them and being a part of our family.
Also, a special thank you to Erin and Vanessa for doing all of the shopping for supplies and food! We greatly appreciate it!!
Finally we want to thank our owner, Billy Hofacker. His vision to create an atmosphere that is family friendly and supportive is constantly at the fore front of everything he does and plans. Thank you for making our day and our lives so enriching and for the generosity you showed that day!
So, if you are feeling a little guilty for not coming to our 3rd Annual BBQ, don’t…..just make sure to come to TBBC’s 4th Annual BBQ. 😉
